This head is a BEAST! One of the best sounding amps we've had!
This is a 2008 Marshall 1959SLP that has been modded by Sir Dave Friedman of Friedman Amplification... It has The mods listed below as well as Foot switchable Master Volumes and Gains...Ā Pots on the front adjust the levels of both.
BROWN EYE GAIN MOD:Ā plenty of gain /saturation to accomplish most modern gain requirements... Sounds Great!
C45 SWITCH:Ā a custom-voicing switch for the distortion channels. Engage for a more scooped mid sound
FAT SWITCH: Like it says, makes the amp sound fatter. Great for single coil pickup.
SAT SWITCH: Primarily designed to add gain, compression and saturation. This is a heavier tone. It isĀ normal for the volume level to drop with this switch engaged. Compensate with the ampās MasterĀ volumes.
JBE SHIFT SWITCH: Jerry Cantrel Voicing switch to be used with Sat Switch engaged.
