The Maple neck, finished with a satin acrylic urethane for a smooth natural feel and moisture protection, showcases Suhr's dedication to quality. The Modern Elliptical neck profile, rolled edges, and a 10-14" compound fingerboard radius provide a substantial yet comfortable shape. The Jumbo Stainless Steel frets ensure silky smooth bending and long-lasting playability. Each Suhr guitar undergoes a PLEK fret dress, guaranteeing optimal string action, playability, and intonation.
The Modern body shape, with its asymmetrical design, perfectly balances the extended 24-fret neck. Crafted from Basswood and adorned with a Flame Maple top, this guitar delivers a fat, well-balanced tone without harsh edges. The meticulous finishing process, with the thinnest layers of finish applied, allows the wood to resonate freely while offering unmatched protection. The scraped binding highlights the natural maple edge, adding elegance to the overall design.
Hardware enthusiasts will appreciate the Gotoh Floyd Rose double-locking tremolo, featuring hardened steel saddles and locking studs for enhanced performance and tuning stability. The Suhr Modern Pro HH boasts versatile electronics, including the SSV Neck pickup that combines vintage warmth with clarity, and the SSH+ pickup that covers a broad musical spectrum with punch, authority, and tone. The 5-way selector switch offers two split-coil tones, providing added sonic versatility.
